Hi! My name is Nathalie.

I've been a runner most of my life, and got the running bug from my dad, who was a regular marathon runner. I only run up to about 5k until I reached my 30s and then ventured into longer distance, culminating with me running the Virgin London Marathon in under 4 hours in 2010. I have run a number of half-marathons since, an ultra-marathon (50k) in hilly Cotswolds and more recently the iconic New York Marathon - the main challenge being to juggle work, training and 2 young children!

I am passionate about running as I believe it holds so many benefits, and I am keen to share this love of it with as many people as possible! I am a qualified Leader in Running Fitness with England Athletics and Level 2 Personal Trainer and I trained to become a Chi Running Instructor (although never found the time to finish my practice and formally qualify). I also led an annual Couch to 5k programme at my work.

But most importantly I am a chartered mechanical engineer by training and believe in a non-nonsense, evidence-based approach to running. Coupled with a keen interest in sports science, biomechanics and physiotherapy, I want to share with you my running journey, what has worked for me and what hasn’t!

I had originally planned on offering one-to-one running technique assessments and individual training programmes but my life took me on a different path and although running will remain my life-long hobby I made the decision not to turn it into a full-time career for now. This may of course change in the future!

Follow me on Instagram, where I am most active. Happy running everyone!
